Original Minecraft mobs I designed to blend in with vanilla Minecraft. (only animated concepts, not downloadable mods)

Cactimob

At first glance, it looks just like any ordinary cactus, but upon closer inspection one may make an frightening discovery. These cursed plant turned monsters hide in herds, defending their territory from intruders. Cactimobs throw their spines, giving their victims a temporary “poked” effect, doing minor damage every time the player moves.

Blood Giant

Essentially a bear with wings. The Blood Giant hunts at night, swooping their prey off the ground to take back to their den. This pesky monster primarily hunts livestock, encouraging players to build shelter to protect their animals. The other solution may be to go monster hunting.

Copper Creeper

This mine on wheels can be programmed to target any player, or simply roll until it hits a wall. I’m sure you know what happens when it meets it’s target. The Copper Creeper can be either a fun prank, or a devastating weapon of war.

Wart

Offspring of the Warden. Unlike the Warden, Wart is completely harmless as long as you keep them out of danger. If Wart is harmed, the Warden will awaken. Wart knows their way around the deep dark, and can help you locate large ore veins, only if given golden berries.

Sculk Army

With airborne spores, the sculk takes possession of the dwelling creatures that surround it. The living dead are the perfect vessels, as they have already begun to decay. Though they may not have a soul to offer, they are valued more as a shell to puppeteer for extensive colonization.
